blimey this was hard. I wrote out a list of 20 to start with.

I note Frank Butcher is very much influenced by the same music as myself, but my ten are:
Ghost Town - The Specials
Love Will Tear us Apart - Joy Division
This is the Day - The The
Walk on the Wild Side - Lou Reed
The Revolution will not be Televised - Gil Scott Heron
Buffalo Soldier - Bob Marley
Night Boat to Cairo - Madness
London Calling - The Clash
Rehab - Amy Winehouse
Lovely Day - Bill Withers

Am I the only one who will look at the songs I don’t know on others and play them to see what I think.
No BE, you're not. I started listening to some of the suggestions I don't know too. Haven't found any I like too much yet though 😂 Then I have got weird tastes.

Great 10 toons B E. I loved The Bottle by GSH and Johannesburg - never thinking I'd marry someone born in Jo'burg. Don't suppose you attended the Two-Tone tour at Plymouth Fiesta Suite in '79. Specials , Madness & Selecter all on one bill, just before they hit the big time.
I had a ticket for the Two-Tone Tour, but in Bournemouth, where I was studying at the time.
Didn't go though, as I'd just met a girl and went for a drink with her instead.
My selection wasn't the biggest disaster, she was quite special and I ended up marrying her and she is the mother of my two sons! Madness, eh??!!?

No unfortunately I was living in that there Londinium at the time looking for streets paved with gold. Sounds a very good gig.

Waterloo Sunset was very close to my top 10, it has a magical quality to it.

I genuinely haven't heard or heard of 95% of these songs.

I might have a dabble over the summer to see what I like (minus the heavy metal stuff).

I remember from a few years back, you had a watch of some bands at Glastonbury. I seem to recall that you liked the Foo Fighters and hated Ed Sheeran. That’s a promising start. 😂
