Who do we want as our new Manager

He seems an interesting choice.
His philosophy in football is excellent, his honesty about what he wants to achieve, wants & needs to learn, blended with footy experience across Seria A, Greece, PSV Einhoven. He finished his international playing career in Swedish midfield 5 years ago, and since worked his way through coaching ranks, Academy for year, assistant, caretaker and now head coach all at Danish 1st division Aab.

So he appeals as the type of personality who would fully embrace SH, AP and the boards 5 year plan. His English is excellent and in interviews he is all about shaping a players skillset and demanding a 100% effort mentality. Yet identifying communication and people management as important as tactics if not more so.

He is young manager, likes to attack on the counter and create chances, favours 4 3-3 a formation Nance and ND appear to share. He is on a short term deal, as he only stepped up to.head coach at beginning of the year after his predecessor moved to QPR after sacking of G Ainsworrh.

Only because we lack certain attributes in certain areas.

Any new manager will pick a philosophy and build a team around that.

We canā€™t currently drop a CB because we donā€™t have the ability to control CM so that is a must.

We have a good crop, not exceptional on any oneā€™s eyes but enough to build with in Copper, Gibson, Galloway, Mumba, Randell, Whittaker and Hardie.

I was replying to Monty, Tuggers. I don't disagree with you.

Exactly, and also against Leicester for last 20 mins to secure points reverted to 4-3-3, did same at Rotherham. So may not start with a 4-3-3 buts it's a formation which they have switch to great effect - Mark Pedlar.

When we have played this formation whether it's for 15 mins, 30 mins, we look much better balanced at the back and use possession better.

Yes , comes across as a humble, intelligent, and quietly determined hard worker. His loyalty to Aab and his wealth of experience in different cultures in Europe, and having played international as a midfielder, for me make him the perfect candidate.

Meets the no - knobheads criteria, would be commitment to a progressive 5 year plan, does appear to embrace limelight, just get his head down and gets on with it.

If you watch how Aab played its swift, switching playing with hard work, suffocating teams and creating loafs of chances to score.

Do they slice a lot of chances and make bloomers?

Against Leicester it was a 4-4-2 dropping almost into a 6-4-0 box out of possession with what appeared to be a tactic of enabling doubling up on Fatawu (Galloway & Mumba) and Mavididi (Pleggy & Joe).

Not according to ND post match interview, or that of comments by sky commentators.

So I will take note of the experts in the game - thank you.

Anyways this is digressing from the main post of who.you want as manager my 3 choices are there, and meet AP, ND and SH we'll published criteria and Aab manager is the most economically sound decision, Des Buckingham in middle and Neismith an exciting yet longer shot.
