A keeper who has let in 85 goals for a team 21 pts off 23rd place. Not a likely choice. A decent game against us doesn’t get him in the team of the season.

He’s been excellent for Rotherham this season and they’ll get big offers for him in the summer (Sheff Utd wanted him in January), his xG prevented is one of the highest in the division, they’d have been relegated far sooner without him.

I would have gone with N Broadbent ahead Somerville, he has scored more goals and created more assists.

Congrats Morgs, well deserved. Big award considering who he beat. Surprised not to see Armstrong from Southampton or Chaplin from Ipswich. Also without injuries I reckon Sargent, Philogene, Rowe would have been in with a shout.

As daft as it seems I suspect that does add a few quid to the fee we could expect. This was voted for by fellow professionals and therefore backs up that Morgan is seen as one of the Divisions biggest threats
