As far as I am aware it IS the PC version. The new template is the same for all screen types, it automatically wraps/fits the data according to the width of the display screen. (Known as a responsive website)
To remove the information on mobile, dgaddy and co. would need to develop a separate mobile version - which negates all their recent work. The alternative would be to lose it on the desktop too.
