There was a bit of bother so what.

So you are not bothered, that police with dogs and horses had to separate hot headed blokes, in front of kids who were playing on swings, some of them, who were Plymouth (fans !), in our main park.

You are not bothered the impression is causes.

Not really no. They will see a lot worse in this life.

Shades of the 1970's with police everywhere....fair play to the club on this one as the police presence was essential as things could have got nasty....

Then (. and lm sorry but this is how they looked) thug looking shaven headed bald men.

Yes I saw a largish bunch of guys 'gathering' by the rear outside of the Demport at the end. Never seen them or their like at HP before. No colours or obvious allegiance to either team. They looked 'avoidable' if you were being ultra cautious but, by appearance, they could have been anything from a Lambretta Owners Rally to EDL. Ageing skinheads with a few younger acolytes.
I have no proof or problem with them, but noticed them and wondered what they were doing there? I'll probably never know.

Some of the usual suspects! They're at most home games.

As I walked from the ground to town after the game, there were police everywhere in Central Park, it reminded me of Chelsea home in the good old days.

About 30/40 Rovers fans escorted back to the train station I would say average age 17, if there were no police there would of been trouble, so this time D&C got it right.
Must of been a large police bill as some officers drafted in were on rest days (lovely jubbly :-C).

Never understand the gutteral outrage that surrounds football violence, there’s no place for it in or around stadia, families should not be exposed to the nonsense.

But why waste huge resource away from the ground when it’s like-minded imbecile versus like-minded imbecile? let them get on with it. The reality is the majority of it is gesturing and bravado. There’s a professor at Leicester University that has been studying football violence for near 4 decades, it’s tibal akin to school versus school and area versus area. 80%> of the cohort will run away rather than stand toe-to-toe and fight.

Waste of resource, let them get on with it

So violence is ok??

I can’t believe there are grown ups that don’t understand how violence breeds violence.

I suppose war’s ok too?

People have fought for time immemorial, I don’t condone it but I’m not naive enough to think it will simply stop.

Let them get on with it in a controlled manner, charge the spectator

Still don’t get it.

Charge the spectator?
Like in Victorian England?

You know that knife deaths are on the rise, yeah?
Gang on gang - turn a blind eye, better still find a way to monetise that somehow too?????

Yeah why not go the whole hog, squeeze a bit more revenue out of the revamped stadium, name it Ginsters Colluseum and have gladiatoral boughts mid week. Could throw a few dog and cock fights as well. So long as all the blood is cleared up by Saturday shouldn't upset too many decent folk. Might even fund a half decent striker.

I’d pay.

As long as there were prawn sandwiches of course.

First in I’d have Rickler v Boris.

This is all good stuff, seems we have a groundswell of support

We can turn the ‘English disease’ into the ‘Englush Solution’

Why waste such huge resources on a bunch of halfwits, the majority of whom run away at the slightest sign of actual trouble?

The Hooligan Olympics.

5 of each teams hardest blokes.

Regional qualifiers - East/West/South/North.

Qualifying teams fight at the Ally Pally.

Best four groups get to represent us on a European stage.
