I think we all do but history shows we are unlikely to get anything like a full season out of him sadly. If we can then it would be a great bonus.I pray Galloway can be back to the form we saw before his injury. And stay fit of course!

Interestingly, according to Wikipedia, the only players in our retained squad ( not including the ‘youngsters’), that are not 6’ plus, are Edwards, Ennis, Grant, Lewis, Randell, Law, Jephcott and George Cooper.Unsure as to many new signings we need , but I would ask that they are all over 6 foot tall ,we need more height IMO.
Matt Smith at Salford?? Not sure what they paid for him but reckon he can definitely play higherIs there anyone in L2 paying six figures for players these days?
Meanwhile, back in the real world …..Here is what I’d do:
Sell jephcott to l2 for 100/200k
With that money buy Garrick
Get a tall CF who can play differently to others - keiffer Moore, sam vokes type of player
Try and buy broom but only at right price- no more than 250k.
Get 1 tenacious midfielder in who’s a bit of a **** that will win tackles to allow Houghton and mayor to get on with it when camara is out on international or injured.
if we cash in on cooper which is likely to be upwards to 10 million - we could have an amazing budget next
It's such a great position to be in, with a unified squad almost ready-to-go again, and with forward momentum and real belief in themselves as a group.
It means we can afford to be very picky regarding new signings
We're clearly looking to strengthen up front.
Shirley being released hints at that, otherwise we could have given him a one year deal.
So I'd expect 2 to come in there - 1 of these of course could be Garrick.
Another could be a high-calibre young loanee from the EPL. I think Argyle are now at a level and profile where EPL clubs will feel there's mutual benefit. That performance vs Chelsea will have turned some heads.
If (and it's a big if) no-one is poached and were simply looking to complement what's already here, then I'd also expect us to go for an all-action midfielder (ideally good at set pieces), and a promising up and coming RWB.
The key is being really fussy and setting the benchmark high.
They were based at Real Club de Golf Campoamor last time, about 50 minutes south of Alicante airport and 45 minutes north of Murcia airport. It could be somewhere different of course this time.Anyone know which part of Spain the lads are going to for pre season?
It's only ever happened once. An Anglo - Scottish Cup match:When did we last play a competitive fixture in July? Has it ever happened before?
Garrick scored 7 goals in about 47 games and Jephcott scored 11 in 40 appearances, time for a rethink on your comment.........?Here is what I’d do:

Or time for a rethink on your research. Jephcott actually STARTED more games than Garrick. Garrick actually only STARTED 25. And if course Jephcott takes the pens. Sorry to let facts get in the way.Garrick scored 7 goals in about 47 games and Jephcott scored 11 in 40 appearances, time for a rethink on your comment.........?
1st off, jephcott didn't take all the pens and he did play less games. You really don't like being challenged do you.....Or time for a rethink on your research. He STARTED more games as I already said. Coming on as sub for a few mins is not quite the same sure you agree. Your stats were misleading.1st off, jephcott didn't take all the pens and he did play less games. You really don't like being challenged do you.....
Those statistics included every league and Cup game.
