Internal fittings and fixtures optimistically will take three months, lets say September ,October and November...so everything else has to be finished by August....loved to be proved wrong....
Will you stop it with the negative vibes man!oddball":2iol2j6g said:Good set of photos yet again..... however I can't envisage the grandstand being ready to hold corporate match day lunches and so forth this side of Christmas...not from what I am looking at this afternoon....

Also, why is there a window that over looks the pitch in the supporters bar? If theres any plan for the corner fill ins then surely that view would just look onto the back of a stand?

The last three pics in the set show how massively different the new stand looks, though after all it IS the same basic structure as the old one so of course it will look sort of similar. Though I don’t know how anyone can say these pics look ‘very’ much similar...

And re the window in the supporters bar, yes the plans are to fill in the corners but why wouldn’t you want to make the best use of the view while you have it?

I think with the new seats in it will look significantly different and much improved. Remember how much better (IMO) it looked for the Liverpool game just by adding vaguely green seats. As for the corners, I'd be amazed if they ever get done. The price per seat would be much more than the work that has been undertaken so far. It would only make business sense if we were selling out for every game over the course of a few seasons, which I think would only happen with a sustained spell in the Premier League. Which is a fair way off from where we are now.
