I think you've got a point there. I've noticed time and again how these loan players come in and look a class above for a game or two then we soon pull them down.

More because they want to impress when they first arrive and maybe some players believe that after a while they don't need to try so hard.
Madjo tried a lot harder today when he came on compared to how he has been contributing recently, maybe a little time on the bench has done him some good.

Ben is the brother of a good friend of mine. Apparently the players were shocked amd humbled with the story he told. It's just a shame it didn't motivate them very well!
