Not going to knock you for your choice in reading material. And I don't want to knock Purse's achievement either, but I'm guessing the selection of that team is less than scientific. Like most of the national press, I doubt they have reporters watching all the games. Probably along the lines of:
"I hear Plymouth Argyle held out for 84 minutes against Swindon"
"ok let's put one of their centre backs in, who were they?"
"Purse and Blanchard"
"Is that Darren Purse who used to play for Birmingham? I've heard of him, stick him in".

I thought Purse had a good game, but was equally culpable for the goal with Berry. He lost his man, allowed him to turn and shoot. As that was the decisive moment in the game, I couldn't vote for him.
