James Brent no closer to finding new chairman.

This isn't really a great structure.
A non exec chairman is usually part time with a number of other roles possibly, so it's difficult to see where you'll get a 'football' person from to do that.
Also, let's not forget that our CEO is acting,is also FD and has a job elsewhere!
To my mind, Brent should continue as Chairman, the CEO position needs to be the full time business focused director, and we should have a director who is responsible for the primary product and income stream, i.e. football!!
Also, I thought I read a long time ago that executive search had been engaged to find the Chairman? If that hasn't been successful it's an added reason to have a re-think.
