Huge thanks to everyone involved in the vaccine rollout, both the amazing NHS and brilliant volunteers. All your efforts are very much appreciated. Thanks to Ian's comments my dad is all booked in at Home Park tomorrow. It looks like my Coeliac disease gets me into group 6 (first benefit I've ever had from that!) so hopefully I might be making my own way to The Theatre of Greens before too long :scarf:

Noticed on the BBC TV National News this morning when they were reading the headlines about the vaccine rollout, they had a montage of three or four example vaccination centres and one was Home Park! Guess they thought the green and white art deco frontage would look good!

I was one of them, took less than 10 minutes all in. AZ was the vaccine.

Yeah I think both have been AZ from their inception. Derriford and certain GP's have been whacking in the Pfizers.

Makes sense. I've known a few cold nights at the football but never the -60C to -80C required for the Pfizer vaccine.

My grandparents both got Phizer at Pavillions last month so maybe just depends what they can lay their hands on!

Ah that’ll teach me to assume won’t it?

Certainly HP has been wall to wall AZ so far.

Generally vaccinations began with pfizer but i think there is a bit of delay with the manufacturing so not coming out quite so quickly so in the last month most vaccinations have been AZ. The next lot of pfizer i expect will be jab 2 for those who got it originally so i expect most new 1st doses to be AZ for the forseeable.

Pavillions did 2021 vaccinations on Friday and I think have 2500 booked for tomorrow as it worked so well on Friday. Everyone was in great spirits on Friday down there.

Okay had the az jab earlier in and out within 10 minutes no queue. The jab it was nothing in and done before I realised they had put it in. Feeling sweaty this evening and bit of a sore arm. To be expected tells me its working. For anybody having doubts about having it done get it there isbnothing to it.
