Head is numb. Not sure if thats the cold or watching the football.

That was pretty awful. Against a side that were hit by injuries and calll ups.

Im trying to think of a postive but having watched that "kick n rush" style all second half then lm struggling.

Nobody really stood out. We lacked ideas & imagnation. Often being too slow to the ball.

If we are going to play narrow you need full backs with pace who can cross the ball. Our side is very immobile. We have craft & creativity with Carey and Lameiras but our lack of pace in our team leaves us exposed defensively, whilst going forward we are static.

When we can overload the middle of the park then we can get our system to work. Unfortunately today we ended up constantly hoofing the ball up to Taylor. It was "Robbie Turner" hoofball at its finest.

Charlton should have won by more goals. They had some decent chanced which narrowly missed. Argyle huffed and puffed but saying it was turgid is the nicest way of putting whatever the game plan was today.

Everyone will say its one bad result from a number of great results. It was just more the manner of how badly we looked today and knowing we dont have much in the squad to change it for Peterborough.

Argyle have some very good league one players. Yet half that team todaat least needs releasing and replaced. We are still a work in progress.

I think this sums it up. We have done well to get where we are, and the lack of depth in the squad will cost us now but probably just as well as we are in no way ready to play in the Championship. Our system works well when you have the likes of Sarcs playing but without him and Sonny we are going to struggle. Hey ho, still all to play for and we can hold our heads high. If we finish top of the three promoted teams that's a good result as far as I'm concerned.

One poor result and you want half the team replacing .Wtf

After the run we have been on how can you think that ?

Iā€™d be ashamed to admit I even support Argyle after that post.

Thats what I thought. Very knee jerky from MGM. I wasn't there today and if perhaps I was I would be more appreciative of how MGM feels right now.

Poor performance and bad result but we don't turn into a bad team over night. In any event, if we'd been offered our current postion at the start of the season or any point since then we would have been more than happy.

Hopefully a blip and on to the next game.

Moles40....spot on

The players perform wonders over the last 3-4 months when relegation seemed certain in December and one poor performance today and now MGM let's rip with severe criticism of the team....very poor show from him.

Change the squad for Peterborough? What about Southend and Scunthorpe, Mickey?

The run had to come to an end, itā€™s how we react to the defeat that matters. The team has shown enough character this season to not write them off just yet. Bad day at the office, we move on. COYG.

Played well first half but caught sleeping at the back again.

Second half, very very poor show.

Unfortunately, the two centrebacks (how one wasn't sent off was a mystery), dominated Taylor. Hence, we were ineffective. Didn't have a plan b and Lamieras was poor. He needs to work on his touch and getting the ball out of his feet as he always seems to be tripping up over himself.

Makasi is more than adequate, yet he doesn't seem 'right' to me. He doesn't look like someone who will impact a game or someone that has his identity in terms of the way he plays.

We miss Bradley.

Also had an unusually large number of drunks around me, with fans watching from the steps. Was a bit different to usual.

It was inevitable the fantastic run would come to an end shame it was against a play off rival ( IF you think we are in with a shot in the 1st place ).

Not strengthening in the January transfer window has left us exposed to injury once again and it seems being 1 or 2 players light makes us a completely different proposition as there is NO strength in depth.
Play offs was only ever a pipe dream so lets be thankful for the turn around that got us this far. We are simpoly not good enough or ready for the championship with this squad but its a good foundation for some summer acquisitions and maybe a better campaign next year

The dye was cast in the first minute with the well worked effort they had, so no surprise to me when they scored soon after. As the game wore on it had 3-0 written all over it, unfortunately the subs didnā€™t give us that spark to make a game of it, thought Paton looks to have something, even though he was over eager, giving the ball away sloppily from quick free kicks and getting a daft booking, I can see a player keen to please, always looking for the ball.
Hopefully today, and I suspect it to be the case, was just one of those blips that happen in football.

It's not so much the defeat it's the manner of it. Charlton weren't especially good. We were very poor and the subs didn't affect the the game.

Maybe it's the wake up call we need. We had a poor 45 against Bristol and the first 45 at Fleetwood wasn't great either. Now perhaps it will sink into a few players that we're not invincible and need to work hard to get results.

No need to give up on the play-offs yet. There will be more twists and turns but we need a minimum of 4 points over Easter to stay on track.

Christ, I wouldnā€™t want to stand next to you in the trenches! ā€œPipe dreamā€? Weā€™re seventh with a game in hand, itā€™s all to play for!

There's an awful lot of over reaction here - we had a bad day at the office, it was bound it happen eventually. Deal with it and move on.

People whinging about strength in depth - Jesus wept. We lose our two central defenders to injury or cancer, have one excellent one in on loan and this is somehow a failure of management. What on earth is Adams supposed to do differently? Build a factory producing Championship-level defenders that delivers on a conveyor belt?

Results didn't go too badly today so hopefully we can get something from the next couple of games.

We were poor in all positions today, hard to pick a mom. Can't complain with the season so far, but argyle fans arguing amongst themselves today, on players performance's etc. Has the bubble bursts? Maybe the next game will tell, it's how we respond.
