Well you didn't say it. Perhaps our Pompey mates can do us a favour on Saturday. Mind you draw would be bad for both sides. Also hopefully Blackburn still have something to play for when they go to Charlton.

To be optimistic: we can chase Rotherham down. We have two games in hand on them, and play them at home.

So do I, actually, but our team on its day should not fear Rochdale, Scunthorpe or Rotherham.

My point is that we are not necessarily competing for just two play-off spots, it's in our hands whether we can catch Rotherham.

I agree Mark, that we should not rule Rotherham out of the equation just yet.

Albeit it will be very difficult to catch them - we'd have to beat them, win both our games in hand and then still out-perform them by a point in the final 2 matches, given that their goal difference is so much better than ours.

If we catch them with that form we'll finish above Charlton and Scunny away.
