You don’t need super talented players to drill effective defence at this level the ongoing shambles at the back is down to management and coaching staff

Exactly. Look at the back four under Luggy mark 1. David Worrell and McGlinchey were no world beaters. But that defence kept clean sheet after clean sheet, because they were organised.
