Deane Smalley was playing for Wythershawe Town as a centre back in the North West Counties League

He should do well there but he’s had a bit of a fall from grace, League 1 to the National League South in just a couple of years, I thought that he was perhaps just getting on a bit but he’s only 31.
What's surprising is how many have really dropped through the leagues here, although I guess age comes into it.
