We have some stupid fans on here. Adams does not have what it takes to drag us out of trouble, the way we play, the results and the general mood is a disgrace.
Sure, its only football but people are wasting money on a team which frankly is dour and poor.
So why are the stupid ones banging on about past success?
Last season or the one before etc means nothing, it has been and gone, we are in the now, he no longer deserves extra time, extra funds, he has wasted it on total crap in the hope this crap can be polished.
Polish a turd, its still a turd.
Only at Argyle would you see a wasteful one dimensional no plan B manager handed a five year contract thus making him unsackable. This just makes our club a laughing stock, this makes him smug in the knowledge he has us by the bollocks.
Its time people took stock of all things green, get your head out of your asses, stop helping to polish the turd, its beyond a joke now, its pretty clearly beyond saving with this idiot in charge.
Time for simon to step up, treat this as a business and get rid of the dead wood, get a new man in and save us the embarrassment of being relegated before its too late.
Keeping Adams brings certain relegation.
i don't think derek is smug.who would you appoint?

That’s a very smug post!

Bring back Brewster or someone of his ilk.

Whatever else we say the style of football needs tweaking and tactically need more options to make the opposition think. If Derek is sticking around the only option is to bring someone else in to challenge, support and advise him.

I don't want him to stay, but he seems to be untouchable, many people say, because of the length of his contract, which makes everything more unbearable.

Nevertheless it is clear that Adams is ruining this Club, minute by minute, and that we are going back down to the 4th division.

So please, Mr Chairman, do the maths and sack the most unlikable and incompetent manager I have experienced in my lifetime.

I want him gone as much as anyone, but that's harsh when we've had Mick Jones, Kevin Hodges, Carl Fletcher etc

It's amazing how 2 wins against poor sides and a plucky defeat against Sunderland totally vindicates Adam's performance this year in some fans eyes.

It's considered improvement by many. If the team is improving, why disrupt it by sacking the bloke when he's getting a positive reaction? Adams has to prove Luton was a one off and get us back on track before Christmas, but he will know that. He deserves to have the January window to address the problems that are staring him in the face which at present he can do very little about.

It’s not just about the performances thou is it.

His method isn’t working.

The players don’t seem to be playing for him.

The signings have been abysmal.

The people that have left during his tenure (Brewster, Luke, Oscar, Jervis, Sonny) seem to have been great loses and not remotely replaced.

Strange subs and players looking dejected.

Hitting out at players and supporters.

It all stinks. Properly stinks and the damage continues

A one off? Like Oxford Peterborough etc? Ok a three plus 'off'.

Come on Williamson was worse than all those. None of them had any money to spend.

You want to give the bloke who has mucked up the squad by investing in the wrong players more money so that he can put it right?!!

Get someone who knows what they're doing in and give them the money.

Someone like Simon Grayson, a manager proven at a higher level? Ask Bradford fans how he resurrected their promotion dreams.

is there any other option but for him to stay? we don't have the finances to get rid. the board seem to bury their heads in the sand with him and focus on the grandstand, whilst we, the fans, become completely disillusioned with it all. its not like he had zero finance in the summer...these players, every single one of them, are his signings. its simply not good enough. he will take us down, which will be a big blip on his ego and CV. This will hurt him more than anything else.

Smashing comment, he will take the club down and that will be his legacy

If that were to happen and the club got relegated Adams would still be here and the board would still be supporting him....
