Sometimes a club just is not a good fit for a player, like Whittaker and Swansea. The move clearly did not work out for him and I don't see him coming back. Wish him all the best with Bradford.

Personally I think he'll only get another chance at Argyle if we're playing in League 1 next season. It's a huge jump from League 2 to the Championship nowadays so not everyone will make it.

Excellent news. And no, I don't mean that in a "glad he's gone" way. Young man needs game time. He's obviously got something about him - and now he's got 6 months to prove it.

I wonder if the possibility of relegation has influenced our decision to only loan him out instead of letting him go permanently. Could be that if we’re still in the Championship we’ll let him go in the summer whereas if we’re in League 1 we’ll feel we might need him.

Yep. With players out on loan we now have 23 players in the squad, including Roberts & Issaka in that cohort. With Cooper, Earley & Gibson(?) injured then we can just name a full squad on Saturday.
Not a moan, rather that it's exciting to see what incomings we have, as I'm sure there's a few!
I think it's about getting rid of the dead wood, he clearly didn't want to be here and was never given a go so his career faltered.
He is back where he was happiest as much the same with whittaker here, I hope he does well and I think you'll never see him play for us again.
Get to the summer regardless of the league we are in and he will go for a nominal fee.
