Left footed and 6’2” - can play all across midfield and in defence too, by the looks of it.

Yes ,they both played for Accrington in 20/21 season along with Adam Phillips on loan from Burnley (who has spent a season and a half on loan at Morecambe ).

Not that I'm aware of ,but he has done well for Morecambe and would likely be someone we have looked at .

Reading the Accrington forum there are comments like “half decent“ and ”has a good engine” regarding Matt Butcher.

His flexibility in terms of where he can play could be an asset too.

There is definitely a mention of him wanting to return more southwards.

Would be great to see a U-turn but Argyle need to accept likelihood is he is leaving.

They need more engine room players when Camara was here so if Camara was to stay and we get more “legs” in midfield it’s a win win scenario.

Completely agree with this, and he proved it. I don't remember the football being ugly to watch either. Quite the opposite in fact. It was genuinely exciting, and we were exceptionally dangerous from set pieces - completely the opposite from currently.

I'm not saying we need to rip it up and start again, but how many times last season did we have the opportunity to put it early into the box, and instead recycled it, looking for a clearer opening which very rarely appeared.

Just get in the mixer a bit more, and have someone in there who can handle the battle.

That seemed an issue with Grant, he seemed more comfortable playing the ball sideways or back.
