The huge empty area above the Wycombe fans was really noticeable before the game started. After the game started it wasn't so noticeable.Oh that must have beem annoying for them given there were 18000 empty seats

I think a far higher proportion of their 45k would be past/future regular attendees at the SoL whereas many of our 35k were really just there for the big day. What is interesting to me is that Sunderland took no more than 45k to Wembley. We took 35k to a play off final one tier below. Shows the potential (if not actual regular) support for the two clubs is not a million miles apart.
Excellent point.I think a far higher proportion of their 45k would be past/future regular attendees at the SoL whereas many of our 35k were really just there for the big day.
Maybe a little bit of truth to it then. Think ainsworth played for Blackburn tooTony Mowbray will be leaving when is contract expires this summer
Not only that, it was Argyle's first trip to Wembley for 20 years, Sunderland seem to be there every season suffering repeated heartbreak!Sunderland asked for an extra 10k tickets but were refused due to segregation issues , so I heard.
Not really - we should be in the bottom 3rd of the championship I think based purely on home attendances.I am glad they have gone up, far too big a club for the rather naff level of league one, same goes for Wednesday with their support.
We are probably in the correct league with our level of support.
So the problem is with the club and nothing to do with Ainsworth who should 'move to bigger things'. What a strange post!Fingers crossed Ainsworth moves onto bigger things and Wycombe go down and then rot in L2 or below.
