A win is a win and I think a few people need to be a bit happier with the result. At the end of the day we could talk about the performance until we’re blue in the face but the result is the same.
Are some on here not happy tonight?

Seems a pretty darn happy place to me.

I must of watched a different game, as I'll concede we didn't play expansive, flowing football and they reduced us to having to scrap for it, but their keeper still made 3 cracking saves, Hardie and Jeffers both messed up one on ones with the keeper and both Broome and Jephers made a mess of free headers. They had a couple of chances with Wilson's clearance saving a goal bound effort, but our goal was not threatened by half as much and the match stats confirm this. Hence I am not sure where this Donny hard done by attitude comes from.

I thought we were worth the win.

It was a close game. Fairly 50/50.

Doncaster, unlike Cambridge & Fleetwood, came for the win.

We found a way to get over the line & to continue our fantastic form.

Awesome result - definitely would’ve lost this one last season. 4th in the league and unbeaten since the opening day. Some people will inevitably still be moaning but if you can’t be happy with how things are going today then you’re probably never going to be happy !!

its interesting to me that given the recent good form of Broom and Pan that I think people may be forgetting how good a player Danny Mayor is. And also how many assists George Cooper racks up with his instinctive first time crossing.

With these 2 coming back I genuinely believe we’ve some of the best midfielders in League 1 this season and all 4 of them offer something different which will be useful to have in your arsenal over a long season.
The question is when are they coming back? It’s all shrouded in mystery at the moment.

Put simply, this is a game we would have almost certainly lost last season. This season, we have more steel & more heart. We have a group who care, a group who give everything for the manager and the club.

I think it is important to reflect that perhaps last season's players, who are no longer in the club, wanted to give everything for the manager and the Club, but their skill set was such, that it did not enable them to be as effective as this seasons.

Just listened to what Richie Wellens had to say- he is not a happy camper
He was not at all complimentary about Mr Kettle he felt they were not penalties & they would have won the game as they had limited our play
How many games have we been hard done by by a referee- i guess it levels out over a season
He says he got sent off for kicking an empty water bottle
I dont think he will want to see Mr Kettle again this season :D
I think Wellens was sent off because the water bottle he kicked hit me. It was indeed an empty bottle so wasn’t a big deal but the stewards saw and reported it to the lino. I think they might have thought it hit one of my kids, because the Donny assistant manager came over super apologetic afterwards and took some persuading that it wasn’t a problem….just great to get the win!

The Doncaster goal looks like handball from their keeper as he starts the move from the highlights.
