I created the nickname CoCo for Yannick Bolasie

When asked why I replied, "He's 50% Ronaldo................... unfortunately the other 50% is CoCo the clown"

Still, wouldn't mind him in green now.

I know Ken Maloy is shown as being nicknamed Bugsy on GoS, but my recollection from standing at the Barn Park end in the early 1960s is that we called him Mogsy Maloy. Does anyone else remember that? Presumably the Bugsy name came from Bugsy Malone but that musical didn't appear until 1976, long after Ken had hung up his magic boots.

Reading Sparksy's article in the Herald today reminded me of Gerry McElhinney- nickname Rambo. He was a genuine hard-nut and even looks scary in his photographs. Andy Morrison is the next hardest player I have seen, but even he is a few rungs down the ladder from McElhinney. He was fairly clean player from what I can remember- but no one was going to dare mess with.

Useless and overrated have been a couple used for many a player, one of my favourites has to be Skills for the world famous Tim Sills from Torquay,
