To be fair on this one I never looked back and thought we threw it away. Doncaster did in amazing fashion, we however found ourselves with a 1 in 3 chance on the final day.
Fans who should be gutted on reflection are Donny, Carlise and Hartlepool!
2 months ago some fans were saying we wouldn't even make the play-offs, then we wouldn't get automatic. Then we wouldn't catch Donny.
We had a brief glimpse at the title but overall we achieved our objective and to be as someone said above, Tier 4 champions is not really a boasting point for either Plymouth or Pompey given their ambitions and expectations.
