I understand it's a Football League requirement to have a 'change' kit. You need alternate light and dark options for shirt, socks and shorts. The clash need not be colour. This may not be a formal diktat from above but the absence of a change kit used to cause teams to have to play in their opponents change kit if, on the whim of the referee, he thought any confusion might arise. Better to have yer own alternative than suffer the embarrassment of playing in another teams kit eh?GM Vauxhall":1d8z1lzs said:GreenArmy1984":1d8z1lzs said:GM Vauxhall":1d8z1lzs said:No away kit at all because we don't need one!
I think we do
No we don't. We never used to have one. What's changed?
People quote Yeovil as the reason, but (i) hopefully not a problem next year and (ii) we had to get a third kit for that game anyway, so it can be done if necessary.
That is quite funny.Floyd_Pepper":kg25umpy said:samjones":kg25umpy said:I've heard a rumour that the home kit is dayglow pink and the away fluorescent yellow

The problem is that it looks better with white shorts and socks and normally that is not my favorite combination
I was brought up on the beacon electrical kit black shorts white socks
I also don't like the all white away kit think that would look better with green shorts and socks but the shirt is great
