Well that's why I said unless we have a sell on fee. 300k on it's own is a poor amount, despite him not wanting to play for us anymore. Most players move on because they don't want to play for their club anymore. We should be trying to squeeze as much money out of deals and play the game like a lot of clubs do. Hourihane has gone on to be a very good championship player, a player of his caliber will be selling for millions. I suppose one way of doing this is by putting in sell on clauses so fair enough. If (big if) we get 10% of 4 million and we end up with 700k then that's not too bad, however for example how much do you think Akinde will leave Barnet for? An ageing striker who has only been doing well for a couple of years? Barnet will play the game I don't doubt that.

Any truth the delay in Hourihane being transferred, is because Barnsley are trying to bump up the Bree fee to save paying Argyle to much. ?
