World Cup every 2 years?

Wenger is trying to get support for his idea of having the World Cup every 2 years!!
I cannot see any benefit of this.
Can anyone?

The European and American Championships would have to go by the board to enable this - putting the profit into FIFA instead of EUFA and CONMEBOL

If we have a World Cup every two years and in the years between a Euros, when will they hold the qualifiers? A question that nobody seems to be asking.

It'll happen eventually as it'll make money and that really is all that matters these days. So while I'm dead against the idea, I suspect it will happen sooner rather than later.
