I never watch PL football any more for the reasons set out in this article… prefer proper football in L1 and L2. Championship…?

Trouble is there are many clubs in Leagues 1 and 2 and the Championship that are run at a huge loss with their weathly owners subsidising to the tune of millions a year. Ipswich I believe are 1 such club.To me it’s just a question of degree - Outside the PL millions go in whilst in the PL it’s tens of millions. I watch Man City as they are such a wonderful team and we all dream of having a Haaland in our team!
Anyway, Argyle have benefited from the wealth of Simon Hallett. Without his millions we would not be where we are today.
To me it’s just another negative piece from Jonathon Liew.
Rarely does he mention how he would deal with wealth in football other than to say it’s bad. We are where we are and I try not to make any moral judgments on ownership - just enjoy the football!
