Aim for 23rd March then I'd say
I think that works much better.
I admire your sense of urgency and immediacy, but those of us who've lived through administration know only too well that it's a marathon not a sprint. Saturday is symbolism only, **** all will come of any showpiece protest there.
Make a big thing of 'loads of Argo comin' in support on Sat'dy' and sadly, as folk have already made other commitments, they won't. Consequently it'll come over as a) we don't care and b) Gulls Fans can't organise the proverbial... neither of which are true.
But to be fair given my observation above about TUFC not actually yet being in administration... I'd be more for organising a boycott for Aveley, not a mass turn-out... otherwise he profits from it 🤨
Make it a fixed date in the calendar, far enough ahead for this administration to be real and far enough for planning and prep. It'll have vastly more impact.
Ironically, given the swathes of empty seats/terraces I saw at Plainmoor earlier in the season, I've been 'locked out' of Home Park for the forseeable due to recent fairweather demand and the bleedin' points system pecking order that sprung up as a result.
As an exile in the South East i've had to get my football elsewhere but as luck would have it my local team has had its game on the 23rd switched for TV.... so I'm free that day 👍🏻
...but I will need evidence your club is actually in administration before I risk giving a single penny to Clark Osbourne.
...and I will need evidence that your fans have a proper fire lit under their own backsides before I traipse across the country as part of a rent-a-mob.
