randell was very poor yesterday but has been better at times this season. Houghton was awful yet again and as far as i can see offers absolutely nothing certainly going forward and little in defence. One of our key weakest links.
a midfield of randell, houghton, mumba and edwards after forster went off was a disaster. much as we love edwards he is not to the level we need. mumba is mumba and had several 'mumba moments' yesterday.
whereas i do think we need better players all over, midfield is particularly weak. Forster and darko have shown what level of midfielder we need to be aiming for. (oh for a fit forster (and 5 years younger!)
