Sounds like a respectable performance. Sarfend having an off day, but even so, lameiras and Carey scaring the bejesus out of them.

I do hope Adams half time talk is positive and encouraging, we want to see more of this.

Good performance so far and a deserved lead. Good pressing as someone has said already. Bit of a lucky bounce of the ball for the goal. Sarcevic playing well but his touch lets him down so often. Southend's only real chance was a free header from a corner (that they shouldn't have had) which Foxy cleared off the line. Freddie missed a one-on-one that he really should have scored just before HT. Seems to be the main weakness in his game.

That really is Freddie's weakness he is carp at 1 on 1 but I suppose he is getting amongst it.
