Lots of football fans like a little wager beginning of the season and I like to do a treble each year, predicting a team to win the title from the Championship, league 1 and league 2. This year I’m doing; Leicester, Derby and Grimsby…

Anyone else do little wagers??

Perhaps listen to the Not the top 20 podcast before you commit money.

They put Leicester as 4th due to the inexperience of their new manager. Relegation predicted for QPR, Wednesday and Rotherham.

They also had doubts about Grimsby scoring prowess and had them outside the playoffs. Stockport their pick for Lge 2.

I always put a tenner on being champions and a tenner on promotion by either automatic or play offs.
However this season I've done my usual on being champions but the second tenner is on finishing in the top 6.
100/1 for champs and 14/1 for top 6.

Barnsley is a brave choice in my view.

Duff leaving for Swansea was one thing, but they've lost their best defender Andersen to Luton and Norwood (11 Lge 1 goals in 22/23) to Oldham 😮 too. The new boss Collins was a bit of a left field appointment who has only managed in the States.

Their fans seem very concerned about the way things are going at Oakwell.

Well they might be less concerned after Day 1.

I went big in June, £50 + £67 in free bets with Sky for Argyle to finish in the top half @4/1 and £25 to make the play offs @18/1, blow up ref, stop the season now, that'll do!:)
