The possession stats for this season underlines our containing game plan because just twice in 18 league games have we had more possession than the opposition.
The first was the first game of the season away to Peterborough when we had 56% possession and secondly at home against Rochdale when we had 51%.
Our worst possession percentage was 35 v Bristol Rovers.
Possession doesn't mean everything because we beat Wimbledon and Bradford away with just 42% and 40% respectively.
The stats show we are content to sit back and allow the opposition to have the ball including at Home Park where apart from Rochdale every team has had more possession than us.
The regular red cards also obviously don't help us to dominate possession.
