Fair enough, agree to disagree. I'd say that the whole phenomenon of using names on messageboards, whether real or pseudonyms, detracts from the content of the messages themselves. The reason for the success of forums such as Reddit is that comments are upvoted and downvoted purely on the basis of their content, not the author. But anyway, à chacun son goût...
