Parkway played well by all accounts ... but no cigar.

Away from the disappointment at HP, Parkway won 3-1 'away' to Truro ( but at Bolitho).

Parkway lose 2 - 1 away to Hayes & Heading who are in a play off position.

Still 11th in the table and the last 3 games are at home (all in the next week).

To put Parkway's 2 - 1 loss in some sort of perspective...

On Monday night Tiverton went down 7-0 at Hayes & Yeading. Tivvy also face the same team again at home on Thursday evening!!

Edit: To clarify, Parkway were down to one fit substitute at the start of their game vs H&Y, and Tivvy were also hit by injuries - and fielded some junior players in their game. It has been a tough run in with up to 3 games a week over a number of weeks. Tough for semi-pro teams.

Tuesday - Parkway 1-0 Winchester.

A close game, but no injury time goals, and (as far as I know) nobody in the crowd had heart problems.

Two more home games to finish the season. With luck a top ten finish come Saturday evening.

Thursday - Parkway 1 - 1 North Leigh

Parkway draw their penultimate game of the season courtesy of an injury time equaliser. The result confirmed the visiting teams relegation and a top half finish for Parkway who will now end the season as Devon's fourth best placed team.

Second loss of the season, but better than the 7 -0 drubbing of last week.

Another home match Tuesday night.
