You’re quite right Argylegames. Never previously realised the term applies to the material as well as the shape. I found it a bit gruesome when we moved down here, but now I’m fine with it.

Interesting article. The buildings did look excellent it’s only in the last 10 or 20 years they’ve started to look old and tired. I’m not sure if the answer is a complete deep cleaning effort or another visionary redevelopment but please not another Westfield!

Is anyone old enough to remember taking the Saltash ferry, we lived in Camels Head, so if we were going to Cornwall we would use the Saltash Ferry, remember taking it a few times.

I remember the bridge being opened so I was certainly around. Been on the Torpoint enough times but don't recall going on the Saltash one.

I can’t ever remember going on the Saltash Ferry. I think I must have, but it obviously didn’t stick in my mind.

No i went to Stuart Road, my mother worked at Mount Gould, so on the way to work she dropped me off at my Grans who lived near Stuart Road and then she picked me up on the way home.
