Just back from 4 days at Argyles North Devon Academy hub otherwise known as the Ashbury Golf Hotel at Okehampton. Great venue four decent courses with a well stocked bar. Before staying there for the second year running we attended the Okehampton music festival which is basically bands from all over Devon playing at four or five different venues from midday to midnight with some great great sets.
One of the groups playing comprised 4 lads from Tavistock playing their own music which was excellent and a cover of Are friends electric which was every bit as good as the Gary Numan original. They were called Horse Divorce.
Anyway a great day organised in aid of local charities advertised on Facebook, roll on Okefest 2024!
