That’s fine, better than losing 10k, on a unnecessary fine, we can’t afford.

Why would we want to lose 10K from last Saturday, when most of us, put the money in, just to make an idiotic point.

Don’t you think for one moment, that for example Taylor could do with a run out tonight.

But you are prepared to lose 10K of our clubs money, absolutely stupid.

You could look at this from another angle, if Carey plays and breaks his leg and is out for a year 10k equates to 2 weeks wages (allegedly) , compare that to 52 x 5K= 260K , there lies the argument.

Not a supporter of this competition in it's current format, however it is an ideal game to give Ryan Taylor a run out. Also ideal to give Gregg Wylde's ankle a test after injury. You've got to wonder what Dyson has to do to get a start.

Not as drastic as I suggested but it seems as though Derek and the board have the same opinion of this pathetic competition as most of us sane supporters.

The deadest of a dead rubber, we are just fulfilling a fixture.

Looking at the team and the regulations for this joke competition we have broken all the rules apart from this one....

4 outfield players out of 10:

7.4.4 has made forty or more starting appearances in First Team Fixtures or international equivalents (and not limited to the same Club or Season)

So Taylor, Grant, Ainsworth, O'Keefe and Wylde would be eligible unless four of tonight's team start against Luton.

The bare minimum. Well done Adams and Wotton.

Low attendances, I was at Carlisle in the 80s when there were no more than 20 of us, can remember 50 or so at Bury and in that Sheringham game at Millwall if there were 80 away fans I would be amazed.
