Very sad news, he was genuinely one very nice man. Met him several times, and had pleasure of sharing memories of his Argyle times when he came back and joined the fans up in the Grandstand.

I met him in a pub at Holbeton when he was Argyle Manager. He was so friendly and had a great chat about football in general. Absolute top bloke.

RIP Mick.

That's sad news, i remember he was interviewed after that Burnley game on TV and was literally holding back the tears.

I’m am sad to hear the loss of a really fantastic man a very sincere person who was totally 100% Argyle He worked under really difficult conditions with signings being stopped at the last minute .
I was lucky to see him after the Burnley game
He was genuinely upset
As much as any of us fans
I also remember Mick saying when asked what colour car he would have
He answered there is only one colour to have that’s green
Mick Jones a true Gentleman
RIP

Really sad news that. Always seemed to be an absolute gentleman who managed Argyle at a really tough point in our history. He had a fantastically long and successful career before and particularly with Neil Warnock including 6 promotions together, they made quite the double act, and I'll always be grateful for that day at Wembley in 96.

RIP Mick.

Wow I hadn't heard this. A true gentleman and did well for us.

Thoughts with the family at this sad time.

RIP Pilgrim
