He's blonde. Just so you know. I say this because I didn't see these forward passes you're talking about. I'm pretty certain every time he got the ball he went backwards with it, letting the opponent get in shape.
Thing is, I can see him being handy if someone else is making a bit of space for him, if we're not hoping he'll beat a man and skip into the area with it. But tonight, alongside Grant. That must have been the easiest central midfield pair the Rochdale team have ever had to play against.
I have to agree that Edwards was the only one to bring anything positive to the game for Argyle going forward... The only one who looked capable of racing past a player. In fact he'd have been a better bet in CM than either Grant or Reeves... At least he occasionally bursts the lines
