Why a neutral venue? It’s meant to be a home fixture!

Any ideas where the Maidenhead game is on Friday?

It would be completely unfair to play that on neutral turf as the postponement was their fault.

Because of fixture congestion the season, which has already been extended by 2 weeks, must end on Sunday 20th, and because of the distance our opponents have to travel for an evening game, (bearing in mind players are amateur and have day jobs) this is deemed the fairest way to get the fixture played.

With regard to Fridays game, it will be played at Elburton Villa, although the general feeling is that Maidenhead will not travel. I think it is the Leagues way of giving them a 2nd chance after their non appearance a few weeks ago. If they do not show up, I believe we will be awarded the three points.

A bit like Falmouth a couple of weeks back then.

Only these players have day jobs and don't earn anywhere near as much as our men's team. So no, not that much like the Falmouth game really.

Sorry bit confused. Their last game is against who and on what day at Home Park at 2pm?
Against Poole Town

At Home Park Sunday 20th May kicks off at 2pm and admission is free

https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/2018/may/la ... park-date/
ARGYLE Ladies are poised to win the FA Women's Premier League South West Division 1 and be crowned champions at Home Park.

The Pilgrims finish their so far unbeaten season this Sunday with a home game against Poole Town. If they carry their invincible form into the weekend, they will lift the title and the trophy.

The big match will take place on the big stage, with Argyle having switched the game to Home Park from their regular Haye Road home, and they are looking for a big crowd to cheer them to promotion.

The game kicks off at 2pm and admission is free.

Opponents Poole will provide a stern test of Argyle’s title credentials. In the reverse fixture between the two sides, last month, Argyle were pushed all the way before achieving a 3-2 win when Natasha Knapman claimed the second-half winner.

Which league do they get promoted to if they win the league?

The FA Women's Premier League ... sits at the third and fourth levels of the women's football pyramid, below the two divisions of the FA Women's Super League

So, as far as I understand ...

Argyle can win promotion from South West Division One of the FA Women's Premier League ( 4th tier)

up to Premier - Southern Division (3rd tier)

Then, at the end of next season  , when Argyle win the Southern Division ...

... the champions of the Northern and Southern divisions will both qualify for a Championship Play Off match against each other which will decide the overall National League Champion, who subject to meeting league requirements will be promoted to the FA Women's Super League 2
(2nd tier)

Clear as mud?

Only this year it will be even more complicated as there is a restructuring going on and clubs have been able to apply for Women's Super League and Women's Championship (Formerly WSL2). Any club was able to apply for a licence for the higher divisions, but I don't think they've been finalised yet.
