You've succeeded! I assume it is in the white, grey and black squares, and I can see some sorts of curvy lines in there (I think). Mind you, this is my third beer of the day.
The question suggests one curved line, but I can see many within the black and white squares. Is that the answer, many curves?
I've got no idea at all.

Yes, I'm sure it's one of those optical illusions that rely on the brain working in mysterious ways - you see curved lines all over the place that aren't really there as you move your eyes around the image.
It's similar to this one, where the brain tends to fill in dark patches in all the vertices except the one you're looking at.
That's right - when you're not looking directly at them!
