It would be interesting to know when the Argyle hierarchy first started to realise things were going badly wrong with Foster at the helm. Hallett and Dewsnip have said that we sacked Foster purely because of the results, they have to say that, but I don’t buy it, we aren’t the kind of club to make knee jerk decisions because of a few defeats, there were clearly far deeper problems, did the players approach board? Did the backroom staff raise concerns? We were late in sacking Foster but being stateside it’s possible that Simon Hallett was late in being briefed as to the true extent of what had been going on.

Exactly, when we had more attacking threat, this opened up Azaz, Cundle or Hardie. When you only have to worry about one player then it’s pretty easy to mark one player out the game.

I think, mainly, because we didn't have the attack minded players to do so ?
