The powers that be have created the premier League 2. That's why there's all this fear of dropping out the division, their crazy financial decisions are catching up with themselves.

This new sky deal will only make things worse. Short term it's great for us but the financial drop into league 1 will become massive and cause many clubs a lot of trouble in the years to come..... Just like relegation from the premier League does now.

And trying to compete for those going up from league 1 and even the national League will be so much more difficult.

On the plus side, if we stay up this year I can see there being several basket case clubs in trouble next season. Having 3 managers in a season could become the norm.

It's quite a poor article, really. Describing the league table and then a few lines about managerial changes.

It reads as though we all only have ourselves to blame for booting out failing managers.

In fact it's quite common for relegation-threatened teams to opt for a change of manager - not many chairmen just sit there and watch the ship sink. It's not our usual style, but we did make the second change for the same reasons as everyone else: another roll of the dice in an attempt to stay up.

But we are trying to stick to our medium-term plan and not undo the good work of last season - it's almost the opposite of short-termism.
