I'm not usually one for throwing youth players into the first team before they're ready but I think we could have used Freddie more than we have over the last couple of months. He's quick and he likes to drive at defenders, with Whittaker's form taking a dip we've missed that spark and that sense of unpredictably up top.

Freddie is very young and inexperienced but he has qualities you want in a forward brought in for the last twenty minutes against trying defenders: he is very quick; runs at defenders; and is always looking for a shot. he can make things happen (as can Bundu).

As I thought, Archie Gray walked away with both awards. Well deserved I might add. Freddie's not had enough game time.

The manager didn't want to use our experienced players - just his England youth squad members - so Freddie had no hope. Very pleased to see him on the bench again.
