Wonderful support at home this season. Hope they can survive. Amazing job by Steve Cooper in view of the turnover of players at the start of the season.

A rare example of an owner sticking with a manager when pretty much every other one in the same situation would have made a change (and probably been relegated).

Fantastic season for them!

Not a Forest fan at all, but you have to appreciate their tenacity and belief!

They had to bring in a lot of players as a lot of their promotion winning squad were loanees or out of contact. Their transfer policy did however resemble pulling random names out of a hat.
Which, of course, it would be expected to if they were trying to sign players of relatively high quality at relatively low cost. If you sign the players everyone else has heard of/wants to sign then you are bound to pay more for them.

I suspect we’ll (continue) to see the same at Argyle: “We’ve signed who? Never heard of them!”

On the point about sticking with managers - of the current bottom half of the Premier, only Moyes and Cooper remain in place from the start of the season.

The merry go round spins even faster in the Championship. 15 clubs have changed managers. Of those, Watford (of course) Huddersfield QPR Cardiff Blackpool and Wigan have changed boss more than once in the season.
