2-1 home win over Walsall in September '73.

I was so naive I expected the pre-match announcements to continue onto a commentary during the match. 🤭

Bristol City away in 1968. Dad's work had us living in Bristol
for a few years, and he took me for my birthday. Lost 2-0 and
got relegated that year, but I was hooked.

1991 we beat Oxford 3-1, first season supporting Argyle and we for relegated. So had an early warning shot!

First home game was a 0-0 draw with Swindon on 18th April 1981. David Kemp hit the crossbar. 3rd tier.
First away game was a 3-0 defeat to Reading, on 31st October 1992. Shilton was in goal and we were terrible. Also 3rd tier.

26th December 1958 - I was 7 and we lived in London. We were down for Xmas and my father (a Cornish man) took me to see Argyle play QPR. We had ringside seats and I was cold/wet/utterly miserable. We left at half time losing 0-2 - but needless to say we eventually won 3-2. Dad told Mum that he wouldn't take me again, and he didn’t- he died a year later

We then moved to Plymouth and in 1964 an Aunt took me to see Frank Lord score 3 against Stoke City in the League Cup. That started an addiction that is now 60 years old - and stronger than ever.

2-1 win against Bury standing in the Lyndhurst April 1975, I was seven. They took the lead through a blond, Northern Irish international called Derek Spence. Paul Mariner and Billy R combined for the equaliser but I can’t remember the winner at all!

Lunch beforehand at Chez Nous which I hated (no chips), and there was heavy snow in Okehampton when we got home.

I couldn’t get used to not being able to see an “action replay” of the goals!

April 1971, Fulham home 1-1 draw Jimmy Hinch scored, we played in the fantastic white strip, wooden sleepers, the smell of boveril and fags, I was hooked, luckily not on the fags😀

Home vs West Ham in Nov 1990 (thank you Greensonscreen)

We had watched the World Cup in the summer and it had ignited my interest in football so toddled off to Argyle. Lost 1-0 and so it started my supporting journey the right way. Watching us lose but having a great time doing it

Midweek game in February 1994, was at a loose end having just arrived in Plymouth for a short term 3 - 6 months contract. Still here and a season ticket holder since 1997. First ever game would have been a Halifax Town home game in Division Three North in the mid 1950's
