Their website and others suggest using the Park and Ride, but I'm not keen and need a quick getaway tomorrow night.

Is it really that difficult to park close to the ground ?

Ta for any help...

You can't be able to park on the streets around the ground on matchdays. You're probably best off to park in one of the car parks at that end of the town centre and walk to the ground (only about 5 mins). The car parks at North place and Portland street are nearest.

What pubs are the most popular before the game and hour far from the ground?

What was the name of the pub where everyone went last year (inc JB)?

cheers

There aren't any restrictions on where you can park during match days.

Your best place would be to try and park on the roads which are on the otherside of the park, opposite the entrance for away fans.

Thanks for the advice all.
Will try to get there in time to street park but as a plan B:

On checking parking websites they seem to think these shut at 8 pm.
Any local knowledge confirm or correct this?

Portland Street car park is where we'll be parking, it's a big one on the edge of town about a 5 minute walk to the ground.
It is open 24-7 but they only charge til 8pm.
