This 7-0 thrashing of literally a Cheltehham youth team is a reminder to me of how we got rather excited in pre-season, when we played a series of junior teams....and when we played our ONE game against a league side (Div 2 remember) we got stuffed with 5 goals....and it cost us half a season of dross.

Really? I can't see anyone getting excited about today's game.

Clearly a good result, but I would have expected a decent victory given the names that played.

Apart from GA84

Actually, being there, there was quite a bit to get excited about, such as how well Taylor and Jephcott played.

If a supporter can’t get excited about a youth product looking like a first team player then it is a sad day. Especially if that supporter had watched his progression over a number of years.

Agreed, Jephcott was outstanding, but the only downside was the opposition, it looked like Cheltenham’s youth team.
It was 7-0 going on more

Exactly, Argyle never let up, it would have been easy for the players to ease up but they didn’t, they were obviously trying to impress the watching Adams and Wotton.

Thanks to everyone who posted updates yesterday. I’d normally have been there myself, but was sat in a hospital waiting room....
