I would have thought that is great news. The moron then will have nothing to do with Bury FC.

Then the Phoenix can rise again without any input from that piece of tissue.

A club can never die, it will just find itself in a different place.

Dale seems only to be dragging it out because he is the mother of all £$%%%^$£%^, and because he can.

He actually paid a few quid to HMRC last week to avoid a winding up petition.

Bury’s owner Steve Dale has defaulted on the company voluntary arrangement (CVA) he agreed last summer to settle the club’s £5m debts, having failed to provide the money required to fund it.

No great surprise there. Just another company to add to his list of failures. Let's hope a phoenix club can get up and running.

Probably got Salford on the cheap, non-league club with no ambition so would have been easy to get. I imagine Bury + all the debt it had would have been a waste fo money
