This must be the earliest offer ever. Early bird full season ticket for next season £199 or £8-30 a match, how can they do that ?

Crowds between 10 and 11 thousand on a regular basis will mean they can reduce their season ticket prices. Can't see their expenditure being much more than us either. Some of their hospitality deals are quite cheap too.onthegreen":11okkzis said:This must be the earliest offer ever. no matt thats how they have been getting crowds of 10 to 12 thousand over the last 3 or 4 years because they have been selling cheap season tickets. they do not make much money on a match day apart from the away support see the crowd when they had to potd in the fa cup against northampton was 2900 odd.GreenMatt":272tlo4w said:Crowds between 10 and 11 thousand on a regular basis will mean they can reduce their season ticket prices. They sold 7000 full season tickets plus 1400 'flexi cards' which only give a discount per match. That means they have around 2000 POTD every game plus those that buy the reduced tickets with their flexi card. They also have big commercial deals with large companies like Carling and the co-op plus a ground sponsorship. Their income is definitely much larger than ours, hence the much cheaper ST prices.loyal1970":5kxcu1tp said:no matt thats how they have been getting crowds of 10 to 12 thousand over the last 3 or 4 years because they have been selling cheap season tickets. they do not make much money on a match day apart from the away support see the crowd when they had to potd in the fa cup against northampton was 2900 odd.GreenMatt":5kxcu1tp said:Crowds between 10 and 11 thousand on a regular basis will mean they can reduce their season ticket prices. They don't own the ground Chris, and with a lot of the seats and back areas of VP very rarely in use, they probably aren't paying anywhere near as much as they were in the prem in terms of maintenance.
