Why does everyone use "whoosh" as a counter for being irritating? I've not seen it on any site other than pasoti, and it's really quite pathetic. "Ooh, obviously you don't understand my rubbish attempt at sarcastic humour so whoosh to you, lol lol lolzzz".

Whoosh to me, no doubt.

It's meant to imply someone got the wrong end of the stick, usually when they go off on a serious rant to a tongue in cheek comment. The 'whoosh' being the sound of the original meaning going over said person's head. you're right about it only being a pasoti thing though.
